Sun and Sky

Give me any day with clear blue skies with the sun shining bright and I guarantee you that you will find a number of snapshots of those in my gallery. I'm the type that you couldn't keep indoors for too long. Even on review days when I know I should be staying put behind the desk I see to it that I get my daily dose of sunshine. Either I open all the windows in the room for the sunlight to get in or sometimes when I get bored, I drag B to take walks later in the day. I couldn't be any happier that living in a tropical country, I get my fair share of sunshine most times of the year.

Here's to Better Days

I have been trying to get out of this rut I'm in and be all the way strong. I have been finding ways to get me going again and so I thought of doing Friday's Letters once more because it's fun. And reading everyone else's letters keeps my mind off things.

Dear Friday, about time you get here. I'm getting tired counting how many more Fridays 'til next month. Dear Friday Morning, it was a good start huh? Dear Self, good job in waking up on the right side of the bed this morning. But please, stop being so emotional and over dramatic. Dear Workout, I am starting to like you and get used to you as the weeks go by. Let's hope from now on we go steady and stop this on- and- off relationship we have. Dear Life, please be kinder next week. This week was okay but I know you could do better. And could you be more interesting next week as well? I was looking over the pictures in my phone from this week and there was nothing. Dear Weekend Roadtrip, should I or should I not go? Dear B, I MISS YOU. Three weeks is too much, don't you think? Yes, I think you do too because you've been throwing this "tantrums" since last night because you were upset that I did not go on this on- the- spot trip to Pangasinan with our friends. Just so you know, it's kinda cute though, you throwing tantrums. ;)

It's the Perfect Kind of Cold

Hi ladies. It's everyone's favorite day of the week again and I'm doing Friday's Letters for the first time this year because I actually have the time to do it, finally. Oh, and I'm linking up with Aloha Friday as well. :)

Dear weather, I am so LOVING you right now. I LOVE how chilly you are that we get to sleep at night without turning the a/c on and just have our windows open. And how you let us enjoy our walks at night though we know we probably should be at home right away (because we have a couple of exams the next day) instead of taking our sweet time walking around and looking for a place to eat. LOL. I LOVE how cold you are when we wake up in the morning that you make us too lazy to get up even though it was our exam week this week. I LOVE that you're the perfect kind of cold. Yes, that kind that we do  not have to use the comforter and his hugs are enough to keep me warm. I also LOVE the fact that because of you I once again get to steal use one of B's hoodie. I think those hoodies are becoming my new addiction.

And I think I'm not alone on this. See, he's wearing a hoodie as well. ;) Okay, I know you're thinking i'm a bit overreacting on this cold weather but hey, I live in a tropical country and having temperatures in the low 20's is the closest to being cold that we can get. With the exception of Baguio City which reached 10°C the other night. Oh boy I'd love to be there right now. And dear cold weather, I just have one request to make. Please stay a while, would you? :)

Dear midterms, I am so glad you're over. Because now I have time to do all the other things I love like catching up on watching series (Suits is back!!), reading non- law books, and blogging. Now all I can do is to hope and pray that you're results will be positive.

Dear B, thank you for being the best study buddy this exams week. I know it was hard to keep me awake at night, thank you for doing so. Though sometimes you have to kick the bed just to wake me up I totally understand. Haha. But just so you know, it was also a challenge to drag you out of bed in the morning, so quits. Oh, and thank you for keeping me warm. ;) 

 

First Confessions for 2013

I have neglected blogging for almost a week. I know I have not posted anything on here since last week which makes me a bad blogger and I'm a bit sorry for that. It's just that over the holidays, life happened. That I'm not sorry for because I had a really great time with loved ones. :)

For me new year means new beginnings. Thus, I am quite excited for it, fresh start for everything. I have so many plans for this year and to start things off, I installed new curtains and a bag organizer from my Mom in my room. 2012 was pretty special for me and I am hoping that 2013 would be as amazing.

I suck in doing workouts. I downloaded this app for my workout but have finished only 15mins. out of the 30- minute workout I am supposed to do. And today I skipped doing it because my body is aching. LOL.

I am in love with this adorable puppy right there. Who wouldn't anyway?:)

I am currently addicted to this show. In fact B and I watched the entire Season 3 in just one night. I would have continued watching Season 4 had I not fallen asleep at the start of it after B covered my eyes on that scene where Matt Bomer was getting out of the pool. ;)

I am so thrilled, and happy, and excited, and giddy that B is back! Yay!!:) He came back earlier than expected and I was a bit surprised. Ecstatic may be the proper word. Haha. It's good that I did not have to endure the whole 3 weeks to be with him again.

Bittersweet Weekend

Last weekend was supposed to be fun because it marks the start of our Christmas break, meaning no school to worry for the next three weeks or so. The normal reaction  should be "Wooot!! School's out, time to party!!" right? NOT. I said that would be the normal reaction. But if you're a little less normal like me, your reaction would be, "Oh no, three weeks of wondering what to do, where to go, of debating whether to catch up on my backlog readings or not (though I know I should), and of course, three weeks miles apart from my awesome guy.

Friday was our school Christmas party. But guess what? We decided not to go. Who on their sane minds would miss an event like that? I'd say B and I. Yes we're just weird like that. :) So I just stayed at home, spent some time with my Dad watching basketball and edited my blog. Notice the changes? Hope you liked it.;)

Saturday, I was about to go shopping with Mommy but had to cancel the last minute. Last minute, like we were already inside the car and I had to get down. LOL. It's cause I suddenly realized that it is B's last weekend here in Manila before he goes home to the province to spend the holidays with his family. So yeah, I begged off the shopping trip and decided to just spend the day with him. And I know I made the right choice. ;)

It was also the start of the traditional Simbang Gabi or Misa de Gallo, a nine- day novena mass usually held at dawn. It is believed that once you complete the 9- day mass, whatever you wished for will be granted. ;) I decided to attend the anticipated mass Saturday evening because I am not really a fan of waking up so early in the morning, much more at dawn.

Sunday was B's last day. *sniff* Just thinking about it makes me really sad. I woke him up in the morning, but he refused to get up. And because it's Sunday, I gave in. Haha. So Sunday was basically just a stay- in- bed day. Thank God for NBA TV. :)

And before we knew it, it was already afternoon and we have to move because both of us we're starving. We walked, like we always do, to where ever we decided to eat, bought our daily fix of buko juice, went home to clean the house and started to pack his things. After I made sure he's okay, I had to ask him if I could leave the house first before his friend arrives to pick him up. *sob* I just cannot stand the sight of him leaving, that's why. I can still remember how much of a cry baby I was last summer when it was time for us to leave his place. My friends can attest to that. ;) About an hour after I got home, he texted me that they are about to leave.

Dear Self, you are doing a great job. You have been through rough times the past few weeks but I know you can do it. Just hang in there and stay strong! :)

Dear Heart, sorry if you have been overused lately. I know you have been so stressed out and all. I promise I'll try to take it easy on you the next few days. But please don't blame me if there are times that my heartbeat seems to be suddenly racing one minute and goes fluctuating the next one. I can't help it if I'm too giddy. I guess I'm bipolar like that. Haha

Dear Thoughts, you have been so scattered lately. It shows in my room. See how messy you are? But seriously, you have to gather yourself up pretty soon because I really really need to get my focus back. This maybe a bit harsh for you, but I'm giving you the whole Christmas break to fix yourself.

Dear Christmas, you're coming already? Really that fast? How come I didn't seem to notice? I know they say Christmas comes early here in the Philippines but I must be living under a rock (or comforter) to have not noticed that there's only 18 days more left before you're here. I guess that's why we've been having a week full of Christmas parties in school.

I've Got Another (a few) Confession to Make...

It's Sunday once more and it's time for another link up with Alyx for this week's Sunday Confession. Okay, forgive me for using that line from a Foo Fighter song. It's just kind of stuck in my head right now. :) And because my brother is currently watching the Transformers on HBO and I can't focus on my book, I'll just share my confessions with you ladies.

First, our dog just gave birth to 6 cute puppies today. This is her second litter and every one in the house was pretty excited today.

This week, it was a battlefield back in school again. Yeah, that's kind of expected though. I was dead- tired everyday and feel sorry that B had to do the laundry over the weekend. 

I was cranky and moody and hormonal the whole week. Yes, it's called PMS- ing. Blame that on the hormones.

My bestfriend and I have been going gaga over the themes at Play Store. Gotta love Android. :) I mean, who wouldn't love these cute themes

I am enjoying planning a wedding. I never thought I'd actually enjoy this because I was never really a fan of planning. But this one really gets me excited. I have been pinteresting for ideas for a week now! :) Follow me here.

My room has finally got its much needed paint job. Finally! Though I am practically room-less right now I love my room's new look and I'm very much excited to fix it. Here is the color of the walls.

I Confess...

That first week back in school flew by swiftly I barely noticed it was Sunday already. New week again tomorrow. But before that, I've got some confessions to make courtesy of Alyx over at Every Day is a New Adventure.

The past week I confess that...

I pretty had too much alcohol in my system. I think that alcohol consumption for the past week compensated for the past 3 months of being alcohol free.

I gained a lot of pounds again. That's not something to be happy about I know. But eating is really something B and I love doing together. I think the time we spent together makes gaining pounds worth it. 

I enjoyed the last homework- free week with my friends. Yes, I think that's the last stress- free week for us. Tomorrow it is really back to reality. So my friends and I decided to spend it wisely. :)

Karaoke and drinks with friends. :)

Life is really amazing with its random surprises. First was the chocolates from a friend, just cause. And then last Tuesday while B and I were having our lunch a kid selling garlands approached us. When I told him we wouldn't buy he asked for our leftovers instead. B gladly gave his. After eating the kid then gave me one of the garlands he's selling, it really made me speechless.

I was happy to back in my skirts! Yay to pantless week. :)

I was a little irresponsible being drunk for 3 nights and having B take care of me. But hey, I think we're entitled to be drunk once in a while. No? Thank God for B's incredible amount of patience. I was a bad girl last week. Promise it won't happen again.

B was pretty amazing and was extra sweet this week.. He patiently patiently took care of me the times I was drunk and in the morning we'd make fun of how drunk I was. Thank you B for making me smile everyday, for keeping your cool when I throw my tantrums, for letting me get drunk and spend time with friends because you know that would make me feel better, for making me feel better, for just being there without me asking you to, for holding my hand, for hugging me tight, for the walks we have at night, for the little things and for everything else and for just being you. Oh, and one more thing, I'm sorry if I almost slapped you the other night that I was drunk. I'll make it up to you. ;)
