Daddy's Day

Today is Father's Day so we gave Daddy a treat. We drove to Tagaytay, passed by the Pink Sisters Convent and wrote our wishes and then heard mass. After mass, we headed to this restaurant called Taaleña which is famous for their Crispy Tawilis and Batangas Bulalo. Oh the food was reeeaally good. Plus, there's the view too. Nothing beats spending time with your family over good food and a perfect view.

The Happiest Wedding I've Ever Been

Weddings have got to be one of the happiest occasions one could ever go to. I always, always get teary- eyed every time I attend weddings. Especially during that moment when the bride walks down the aisle and when the couple recite their vows to each other. I'm a hopeless romantic, I know!

The recent wedding I've been too is a special one because it was my closest aunt who's walking down the aisle this time. I've looked up to her since I was a kid and she's like an older sister to me. And when I became aware of the concept of love and heartbreak I have been secretly wishing that one day she will find the man meant for her and I would be able to wear a gown and march on her wedding. Thank you Ninang for making that little dream of mine come true. LOL. But seriously, Best Wishes to you and Kuya Chris. I wish you a happy married life ahead. :)

This wedding gathered everyone together and had turned into a reunion. It was one of the rare times that all of my mom's siblings are here. You see my family is all over the world, in Anaheim, Toronto, Winnipeg, Vienna, I guess we're scattered all over the continents. And they all came home for their youngest sister's special day. So no wonder, this wedding turned out to be the happiest and craziest one I've ever been too. Just look at the entrance video at the reception. ;)

Me and my mom and my cool aunts.

Ain't that little guy such a cutie? It was such a fun time to be with family and I LOVE how crazy my family are. Everyone sure had a nice time that night. :)
Yes, my feet got too tired and I went barefoot the rest of the party. LOL

Don't you just love weddings?

The Holiday Rush

Hi lovely ladies! Seems most people are still recovering from that long holiday weekend we all had. I know I am, aren't you? I am hoping you all had a well- spent holidays with your families, loved ones, friends, or whoever, wherever and in whatever way you celebrated Christmas. ;)

Here's how mine goes.

To start off my holidays, I took a couple of trips to the mall and as expected it was jam- packed with lots and lots of people trying to complete their Christmas lists. I was determined on finding a good deal, and I was so happy that I was able to score a few cheap thrills. ;) Also, I dropped by Saizen and came upon these cute notebooks. Can someone tell me why they sell such cute stuff there? I think I can spend hours in there. LOL. The only down side was... Traffic everywhere was craaaazy, it feels like hell.

Holidays won't be complete without parties, reunions or just simple gatherings with people who matters right? So I also had my fair share  of those during the holidays. I had one wonderful night with these amazing people from law school. They are the reason why the first year in law school wasn't that so hard after all. It was nice seeing these guys again and that the tradition continues.

Of course, the holidays is a time for the family to be together. On Christmas eve, we heard mass. It was the first time after a long time that we went to mass together as a family. When we got home, we had our Noche Buena. Then on Christmas day we visited Daddy's brother and I got to spend time and bond with my cousins.

Then of course there's the food. Oh yes, the food. The holidays is also a time to say hello to more calories and welcome the additional pounds. But how can you resist good food. Really how? LOL.

So there's my holiday. How did you spend yours? :)
