Here's to Better Days

I have been trying to get out of this rut I'm in and be all the way strong. I have been finding ways to get me going again and so I thought of doing Friday's Letters once more because it's fun. And reading everyone else's letters keeps my mind off things.

Dear Friday, about time you get here. I'm getting tired counting how many more Fridays 'til next month. Dear Friday Morning, it was a good start huh? Dear Self, good job in waking up on the right side of the bed this morning. But please, stop being so emotional and over dramatic. Dear Workout, I am starting to like you and get used to you as the weeks go by. Let's hope from now on we go steady and stop this on- and- off relationship we have. Dear Life, please be kinder next week. This week was okay but I know you could do better. And could you be more interesting next week as well? I was looking over the pictures in my phone from this week and there was nothing. Dear Weekend Roadtrip, should I or should I not go? Dear B, I MISS YOU. Three weeks is too much, don't you think? Yes, I think you do too because you've been throwing this "tantrums" since last night because you were upset that I did not go on this on- the- spot trip to Pangasinan with our friends. Just so you know, it's kinda cute though, you throwing tantrums. ;)
Here's to hoping for a better week next week. :)

It's the Perfect Kind of Cold

Hi ladies. It's everyone's favorite day of the week again and I'm doing Friday's Letters for the first time this year because I actually have the time to do it, finally. Oh, and I'm linking up with Aloha Friday as well. :)

Dear weather, I am so LOVING you right now. I LOVE how chilly you are that we get to sleep at night without turning the a/c on and just have our windows open. And how you let us enjoy our walks at night though we know we probably should be at home right away (because we have a couple of exams the next day) instead of taking our sweet time walking around and looking for a place to eat. LOL. I LOVE how cold you are when we wake up in the morning that you make us too lazy to get up even though it was our exam week this week. I LOVE that you're the perfect kind of cold. Yes, that kind that we do  not have to use the comforter and his hugs are enough to keep me warm. I also LOVE the fact that because of you I once again get to steal use one of B's hoodie. I think those hoodies are becoming my new addiction.

And I think I'm not alone on this. See, he's wearing a hoodie as well. ;) Okay, I know you're thinking i'm a bit overreacting on this cold weather but hey, I live in a tropical country and having temperatures in the low 20's is the closest to being cold that we can get. With the exception of Baguio City which reached 10°C the other night. Oh boy I'd love to be there right now. And dear cold weather, I just have one request to make. Please stay a while, would you? :)

Dear midterms, I am so glad you're over. Because now I have time to do all the other things I love like catching up on watching series (Suits is back!!), reading non- law books, and blogging. Now all I can do is to hope and pray that you're results will be positive.

I LOVE my view. Haha
Dear B, thank you for being the best study buddy this exams week. I know it was hard to keep me awake at night, thank you for doing so. Though sometimes you have to kick the bed just to wake me up I totally understand. Haha. But just so you know, it was also a challenge to drag you out of bed in the morning, so quits. Oh, and thank you for keeping me warm. ;)

Let's Pause a While

Someone tell me where did the whole week go? I cannot believe it is Friday once more, but my Google Reader says otherwise because I can already see you guys writing your letters. And I just got an email from Jean of What Jean Likes which also reminds me that it's time to say aloha to some blogger friends.

Now let's do this.

Dear Friday, I'm sorry but unlike most people, I am not really thrilled that you are here already. It's just that I was having too much fun this week and I just don't want it to end yet. And you coming also means that it's the start of our Christmas break, which also translates to another three weeks miles apart from my guy.

My phone is so Christmas-y :)

Dear Time, couldn't you slow down a bit? Why do you always seem to be dragging yourself towards the next day? So eager to get to Christmas I guess. Well, as you can see Christmas is in full swing in my phone, I'm hoping it would get my Christmas spirit on.

Dear Athletic Genes, so you were put to test this week huh? How was does it feel to be playing volleyball again? Did you miss it? Cos I did. :)

Game night with Daddy on a lazy Friday

Dear Lazy Hormones, why are you acting up on me again? I was too lazy (again) that I had B sign my name for me in school today while I watch basketball with my other guy at home. LOL. Well I'm considering B's opinion that maybe it's because I'm on vacation mode already (he's just too supportive I know). Okay lazy hormones you're forgiven this time, but don't be a diva for too long okay? We've got lots to do over the break. K? K! :)

Dear B, you were amazing this week. Though you didn't get the championship you are still my MVP. ;) We'll get them next year. :)

Happy Weekend! :)

Oh Fridays (or not)!!

I know it's technically not Friday anymore here in Manila, but hey it's still Friday in some other parts of the world so I will still write some letters for today. Plus, I am also linking up with Jean for Aloha Friday. We're having a day off from school today so I have loooots of free time I guess since B is currently practicing basketball with his team mates and I am, well, I'm here lying in bed checking out your lovely blogs. LOL ;) Okay now time for the letters.

Dear Self, you are doing a great job. You have been through rough times the past few weeks but I know you can do it. Just hang in there and stay strong! :)

Dear Heart, sorry if you have been overused lately. I know you have been so stressed out and all. I promise I'll try to take it easy on you the next few days. But please don't blame me if there are times that my heartbeat seems to be suddenly racing one minute and goes fluctuating the next one. I can't help it if I'm too giddy. I guess I'm bipolar like that. Haha

Dear Thoughts, you have been so scattered lately. It shows in my room. See how messy you are? But seriously, you have to gather yourself up pretty soon because I really really need to get my focus back. This maybe a bit harsh for you, but I'm giving you the whole Christmas break to fix yourself.

Dear Christmas, you're coming already? Really that fast? How come I didn't seem to notice? I know they say Christmas comes early here in the Philippines but I must be living under a rock (or comforter) to have not noticed that there's only 18 days more left before you're here. I guess that's why we've been having a week full of Christmas parties in school.

Dear Jean, I am so glad that you have stumbled upon my little blog and have invited me to join Aloha Friday. Thank you so much, I am so excited to be part of it. If you are wondering what I'm talking about here you better visit What Jean Likes. Jean hosts a blog hop called Aloha Friday but what's great here is that it happens not just on Fridays but goes on all weekend long. :)

Dear B, I can't say much anymore because I think I pretty much have told you everything already right? But I guess I will never get tired and will never stop thanking you for keeping me (in)sane, always. LOL. And yes, those last words are for you. ;)

Happy weekend!

Friday's Letters

Hello there November. Today I'm going to do my first Friday's Letters. :)

So here goes.

Dear Daddy's Mom, Happy Birthday! Hope you're having a blast up there in heaven.

Dear semester break, why'd you have to end so soon? Couldn't you stay any longer? But still, thank you for giving me the time to organize my life (and closet for that matter). My life and closet were so messed up before you came, thanks to that one hell of a finals week at school. On second thought, I could NOT stand another week 175 kms. away from him, glad you're over in two days. :)

Dear second semester in law school, just seeing my schedule and the subjects you have for me makes me want to cringe. But you know what makes you worthy to look forward to? It's that I will be spending every single day with my guy for the next four months or so. ;)

Dear B, this is the longest we've been apart since 5 months ago. That 1 week had been the longest 1 week I could ever remember. Cheesy I know. But you're that one reason why I'm glad sembreak is ending soon and who makes the second semester easier to bear.

Enjoy the weekend everyone! :)
